Stockhouse vs Thrift Vintage Fashion

Updated

Thrift Vintage Fashion is a direct supplier shipping secondhand wholesale from Florida. Stockhouse is building a marketplace connecting US resellers with vetted US sellers. Domestic shipping is common to both; the main distinction is one supplier's packs versus a marketplace of sellers.

Stockhouse is onboarding founding sellers; lots are not live yet. Its marketplace features below describe the launch offering. This comparison is published by Stockhouse.

Allow for condition and preparation

Thrift Vintage Fashion says most orders include up to 15% Grade B items and ship unlaundered. Read the individual pack description as well as its general grading guidance before buying.

Translate that condition allowance into your own shop's standards. A repairable piece may be useful to a rework seller and unsuitable for a shop selling ready-to-wear inventory. The relevant question is how many pieces you can sell after the time and cost of preparation.

Stockhouse plans shared grade definitions across sellers, with each lot showing its count, grade, photos and mix. Compare those details against your requirements rather than treating any grade label as a promise of profit.

What if the order is wrong?

Thrift Vintage Fashion's FAQ says sales are final. It asks buyers to report an incorrect mix or a significantly higher proportion of damaged items within 72 hours, with photos. That is different from returning a correctly described mix because you dislike the styles.

Stockhouse's planned buyer protection covers shipments lost or damaged in transit and lots that differ from their listing, including count, grade or mix. A change of mind is excluded. Inspect any wholesale delivery promptly and keep the listing, packaging and photos.
